Brian Kelly revealed the failure of LSU football without showing any mercy to anyone from his blistering rebuke. After doing so his team, along with his staff were called by him in an immoderate way.
On Sunday Kelly said
“We certainly are not the football team I thought we were and we’ve got to do a much better job, obviously, in developing our football team. We clearly were short in a lot of areas tonight, and that falls on me.”
While getting warmed up Kelly said
“This is a total failure, from a coaching standpoint and a player standpoint that we have to obviously address and have to own.”
As a bunch of poster Kelly described this to his team that
“We thought we were the two-time defending national champion Georgia Bulldogs or something”
He also said
“I don’t know what we thought, but we were mistaken.”
