Arleen Sorkin, who is Christopher Lloyd’s late wife, was much more than his significant other. She was his absolute “center square” as he describes it.
The executive producer and co-creator, who got married to Sorkin in 1995, paid a lovely tribute to his wife by writing an open letter that was published in Variety, the previous Saturday.
Sorkin was best known for her role in “The Days Of Our Lives” character Calliope Jones. She is also the original inspiration for the character of “Harley Quinn” of the DC Universe. She passed away at the age of 67 due to multiple sclerosis.
In the open letter to his late wife, Lloyd gushed about the altruistic spirit of Sorkin saying her enigmatic persona was very evident right from the first time they met while working as staff writers for a sitcom.
Lloyd has also said that his wife’s “spirit never flagged”, even though her disease took the majority of her strength.
