Gohan’s naivety put him in a really tough position during his fight with the Cell. In one of Gohan’s attacks, he put his soul into a blast against his opponent: Cell.
This displayed moment stands monumental to the fact that Goku would remain always in support of his son even after his death. This is so as his apparition appears behind Gohan during the moment he sends off the blast.

Vegito Vs. Zamasu
